1401 Click for larger picture LARGE SAN JUAN PUEBLO POTTERY BOWL: A large San Juan Redware bowl of clay pottery. This red-over-tan plainware deep bowl has a wide form and opening; traditional San Juan details include polished natural clay with a stone polished red slip encircling the upper, slightly concave neck portion. With faint fire clouds dappling the exterior. Approx. 8.5'' h x 14.75'' dia.
CONDITION: Wear commensurate with age to include chips, scuffs, and possibly restored crack near the base.

1403 Click for larger picture 2 PC. MEISSEN PORCELAIN MALE & FEMALE SHEEP HERDERS: Two Meissen Lady & Gentleman shepherd porcelain figures. Each in hand-painted polychrome adornment & gilding. The male depicted with a raised arm holding floral crown, standing beside a dog at heel. Approx. 10'' h x 5'' w x 5'' d. The female with shepherd's crook in hand with a sheep at her feet. Approx. 9.5'' h x 6'' w x 5.5'' d. Each with blue crossed swords marks, numbers, & small firing hole underneath.
CONDITION: Several broken greenery stems at male figure. Repaired shepherd staff and at least one broken leaf tip at female figure.

TALL COCKWORTHY & CHAMPION PORCELAIN FIGURES: A pair of large porcelain courting figures, Lady & Gentleman in 18th c. costume decorated in hand-painted polychrome adornment with ornate flower baskets & sprays. Each figure stands on a round base with blue crossed swords mark & incised number underfoot. Approx. 19'' h x 7'' w x 7'' d.
CONDITION: Natural firing imperfections.

1405 Click for larger picture PAIR OF CARL THIEME & VEB DRESDEN LIDDED URNS: A pair of Dresden porcelain lidded urns with applied ornate floral garlands, having goat mascarons below scrolled handles. Polychrome decorated and gilt with finely painted vignettes of courting couples in a pastoral setting. The pierced lids with wreath form knobs. Each on a graduated square plinth base. Approx. 17.75'' h x 7.5'' w x 5.75'' d.
CONDITION: A couple chipped flower petals. Possible repair where urn meets base to piece pictured at left.

Finely hand-painted and gilt with applied delicate floral/foliate adornment. 1) Allegorized Spring depicting Puttis with sheep. Approx. 9 x 7 x 5. 2) Allegorized summer depicting Puttis with goats and grapes. Approx. 10'' h x 7'' w x 5'' d. Raised upon scroll Rococo bases, each with red Bow anchor & sword mark underfoot.
CONDITION: Scattered broken floral/greenery tips.

U.S / C.E.W / 1863''; brass guard and pommel with additional numerical stamp; wooden grip wrapped with leather and brass wire; iron scabbard with two suspension rings. The blade measures approx. 34.5'' l. Overall, measuring approx. 43'' l.
CONDITION: Wear commensurate with age and use; loss of leather at handle.

1410 Click for larger picture PAIR OF MESSEN ROYAL PORCELAIN POTPOURRI VASES: A pair of elaborate Meissen porcelain potpourri urns, each having a pierced lid with ornate floral bouquet knobs. Having flourished handles and decorated at each side with pastoral and floral reserves. Each mounted with two Cupid figures near the pierced base. One is marked with Meissen crossed swords underfoot along with an asterisk dating them to the Marcolini Period, circa 1774/1814. Approx. 15.25'' h x 9'' w x 6'' d.
CONDITION: Scattered minor fleabites at petals; wear to gilt adornment; one Cupid with broken/missing arm as pictured.

1412 Click for larger picture JOHN BULL PAINTED FIGURAL BLINKING EYE CLOCK: This cast iron figural Automaton clock depicts a John Bull character holding a clock dial at his belly. The dial sits behind a glass door and bears Roman numeral hour indicators. John Bull is polychrome decorated and stands on a graduated rectangle base. When functioning, his eyes blink along with the escapement action. Movement signed, C. Jerome. Attributed to Bradley & Hubbard. Illegible tag at the underside. Approx. 16'' h x 8.5'' w x 7'' d.
CONDITION: Wear to paint. Glass at dial door is held in place by tape. Some replaced screws. Not currently working.

1413 Click for larger picture LARGE SILVERPLATE EPERGNE: This silverplate epergne centerpiece holds three fluted vases and three pierced rim bowls. The flared rim and foot also pierced with scalloped edges. Approx. 19.25'' h x 16'' dia. The small, fluted vases measure approx. 5.25'' h; the shallow dishes approx. 6'' dia.
CONDITION: Gentle wear commensurate with age and use.

With ''Rookwood 1882'' block stamp & Harriet Wenderoth carved initials underneath. Approx. 10'' h x 7'' dia.
CONDITION: Light wear commensurate with age.
