PAIR OF MESSEN ROYAL PORCELAIN POTPOURRI VASES: A pair of elaborate Meissen porcelain potpourri urns, each having a pierced lid with ornate floral bouquet knobs. Having flourished handles and decorated at each side with pastoral and floral reserves. Each mounted with two Cupid figures near the pierced base. One is marked with Meissen crossed swords underfoot along with an asterisk dating them to the Marcolini Period, circa 1774/1814. Approx. 15.25'' h x 9'' w x 6'' d.
CONDITION: Scattered minor fleabites at petals; wear to gilt adornment; one Cupid with broken/missing arm as pictured.
