1404 | 3 PC. CLOCK GARNITURE WITH PAINTED PLAQUES: This Italian gilt garniture set by Lancini features an ornate clock flanked by matching urns. The clock boasts painted porcelain columns, tablet, and is surmounted by an urn also with a painted porcelain body. The convex glass dial door shields a dial composed of porcelain tablets w/ painted Roman numerals set in an ornate cast bezel. Each accompanying urn piece features matching painted porcelain bodies. All pieces set on an ornate gilt base w/ paw feet, and signed at the interior. The clock measures approx. 16.5'' h x 9'' w x 5.5'' d. The urns measure approx. 12.5'' h x 5'' w x 4'' d. The left spaniel has one small firing hole verso, with a molded ''4'' underneath. The right dog has no firing hole and no marks. Approx. 8'' h x 6'' w x 4'' d. Accompanied by a single German porcelain pug holding a basket w/ two pups. Marked at base. Approx. 6'' h x 4.75'' w x 2.25'' d. CONDITION: Spaniels are crazed, with minor flecks of paint/glaze loss, and the left spaniel has small, scattered hairline cracks under the face and along the ears. |

1415 | EARLY CARVED WOODEN BIBLE BOX: This early Jacobean carved wood bible box is dark brown in color w/ a deep patina from time. Original forged iron hardware includes hinges, latch & lock plate, and early t-head nails. Over time, a few nail heads were replaced w/ screws, & an underside wooden lid reinforcement was added. Jacobean style low-relief foliate lunette carvings span the face of the box, and the front corners are decorated by notched edges. Approx. 9.75'' h x 21.75'' w x 14.25'' d.
