ANSONIA ROYAL BONN PORCELAIN MANTLE CLOCK: An Ansonia clock in Royal Bonn porcelain case. The porcelain enameled dial bears hand-painted Arabic numerals, is set within an elaborate brass bezel w/ open escapement, and bears the Ansonia trademark stamp. The movement inside is also marked Ansonia Clock Co. w/ a patent date of June 14, '81, New York U.S.A. The German-made case is richly decorated with hand-painted floral motifs, gilt adornment, and scrolled edges w/ a pierced asymmetrical crest. It bears a red Royal Bonn trademark stamp verso.
