TIGER OAK CONFECTIONERY CABINET WITH ICE BOX TOP: A commercial refrigerated chocolate display cabinet in oak. The top compartment with thick wood insulation to hold a block of ice, keeping the chocolates below cool. The lower display area has 2 layers of glass paneling at each side, and inside are three wire racks with a galvanized tin base and draining hole. Both doors with latching closures. Used in the early 20th c. to display perishable goods such as chocolates & cheeses. Approx. 62.5'' h x 25'' w x 25'' d.
CONDITION: Cracked across the interior glass pane at left side. Gentle wear commensurate with age and use.
