LONGWY BRONZE MOUNTED CENTER BOWL: A Longwy centerpiece jardiniere, polychrome enameled in vibrant colors having a cherry blossom bough motif on a blue ground with bird & floral scenes in reserve. Mounted in a cast bronze frame having pierced gallery trim, twin form dragon handles, pierced frieze apron, and male mascarons at the splayed feet. With impressed ''Longwy / H / 1284'' & ''1325'' block stamps at the underside. Also has a fitted galvanized lining inside. Approx. 12.5'' h x 20'' w x 10.5'' d.
CONDITION: Crazing; patina to metal. Bowl will separate from metal base, as glue has aged and lost adhesion.
