CARVED JAPANESE JARDINIERE/FERN STAND: Composed of richly carved ebonized wood w/ a lacquer finish. The surface has a Chinese meander pattern along the edge over a scrolling foliate motif frieze with a floral carved apron. The dramatic knees are deeply carved with adornment extending down the cabriole legs, joined by a lower shelf stretcher. Approx. 31'' h x 21'' w x 21'' d.
