SET OF 14 TINTYPES: Collection of fourteen antique tintype portraits; the monochrome images developed directly onto lacquered iron plates. The subjects include mostly single gentlemen, and three dual portraits. Two photos appear to be of siblings- a brother and sister both seated before a vine-covered wall. One woman's photo is engraved verso ''No. 45 A. I. White''. Sizes range from about 3-4.25'' h x 2-2.5'' w; the majority being sixth-plate in size.
CONDITION: Scattered lacquer & image emulsion flaking, and age-appropriate rust upon iron plates.
