NATIVE AMERICAN HOPI JAR BY FANNIE NAMPEYO: Fannie Nampeyo (1900-1987) was Nampeyos youngest daughter. Fannie, along with her sister helped her father (Nampeyo) by painting his pots. Julian was her husband who died in 1943. It is estimated this pit was made around 1935; 3) Santa Clara black on black plate signed Maria & Santana. Maria worked with her daughter-in-law Santana after 1943 when her husband Julian passed until approx. 1956. Also sold with a book entitled ''Maria'' by Richard L. Spivey.
