12 MELTZER, Anna Elkan, (American, 1896): Portrait of 2 young girls, one black, one white, O/C, 8" x 8", marked on stretcher verso is artist name and address along with Studio 44, encased in period custom gilt wide frame, Leonard Clayton Picture Frame and Gallery label affixed verso. Meltzer studied at the Cooper Union Art School, NY and the Art Students League, NY, as well as instructing at Cooper Union in the College of the City of NY and opened her own school of art.
14 DAVIES, Arthur Bowen, (American, 1862-1928): Landscape done for the book on him by Duncan Phillips, Pastel, 6" x 9 1/2", marked verso, no visible signature.
16 METZKES, F.W., (American, 20th C): Harbor scene with tug boats and tension bridge in the foggy distance, O/C, 12" x 15 1/4", signed lower right, dated 1913. Condition - Paint loss in center of painting and lower right corner, possible painting underneath.
18 EARLY 20TH C FRENCH IMPRESSIONIST W/C: "Le Treport", scene depicts many figures in a town center, 9 3/4" x 11 1/2", titled lower left, dated July 1912, no visible signature, of superior quality, encased in exceptional gilt molding.

22 HARNETT, William Michael, after, (American, 1848-1892): "The Old Violin", Chromolithograph, sight size 34 1/2" x 23 1/2", published by F. Tuchfarber Co., printed in 1887, encased in period oak frame, under old glass. Please note condition problems, damage in mid to upper right margin, spots of water damage and removed print surface throughout, most notably in left margin and middle right margin.

37 DROUAIS, Francois Hubert, Follower of, (French, 1727-1775): Portrait of young boy wearing a hat, O/Wood Panel, 9 1/2" x 7", signed lower left, encased in gilt carved frame, former property of 3rd generation estate. Condition - Some alligatoring of the varnish, signature appears to have been applied at later date but is at least 100 yrs old.
39 GREASON, William, (American, 1884): "Misty Evening, Port Clyde, Maine", O/C, 18" x 28", signed lower right, signed and titled verso on label affixed to stretcher, dated '14. Condition - Minor craquelier throughout lower half. Former property of 3rd generation estate.
42 UNGER, J.TH., (Dutch, 20th C): Canal scene, O/C, 15 1/2" x 19 1/2", signed lower right, encased in elaborate gilt carved period molding.
44 WOUWERMAN, Pieter, attributed, (Dutch, 1623-1682): Falconer party awaiting the hunt, O/Chamfered oak panel, 18" x 27 1/4", visible in scene are at least 14 figures, 7 dogs, a peacock, 8 horses and 7 falcons, no visible signature. Condition - in need of removal of old varnish, has been over-cleaned at one point, two small areas of paint lifting, no visible inpaint upon black lighting.
44A WOUWERMAN, Pieter (Attributed), (Dutch, 1619-1668): Hunt party in a landscape, O/Chamfered oak panel, 18" x 27", no visible signature, scene depicts 8 horses with riders and 5 dogs chasing down a stag, set in an Italianate landscape. Condition - in need of varnish removal, over-cleaned at one point, craquelier in some places and sporadic paint thinning, no visible inpaint upon blacklighting.
48 CHAPIN, Charles H., (American, 1850-1889): River valley landscape, O/C mounted on board, 15 1/4" x 22 1/4", signed lower left CH Chapin New York '89. Condition Report - Loose finger nail of paint in upper left corner, some in-painting in left margin, upper margin in sky and spotted in-painting throughout. Special note - On the point in the foreground of painting, a caribou has been painted out. Est. $1500/2500**
