The overall soft pastel colors used combined with the delicacy of the motifs renderings makes this an appealing, luscious rug. The central medallion combines pale peach, pink, pistachio green, and grey-blue and rests on a pale yellow field. The delicate vines and tendrils that link the other patterns are done in a pale grey-blue. They also help to delineate the added panels of pink, turquoise, and white that edge the main field. The main border has the same colors found in the central medallion. CONDITION: Condition is good. There is some abrash or color change in the pale yellow field that isn't objectionable. Recently cleaned by Tinney Rug Cleaners. |

There are brown and red borders at each end but not on the sides. Two shades of red were used in making this rug and there is also some fading that accounts for the varying shades.
